Sales Rain Donates 100,000 Php to Red Cross for Yolanda Victims
Sales Rain donated Php 100,000 to Philippine Red Cross as help to aid the victims of Typhoon Yolanda last 5 th of November.
Hundreds of thousands of Filipinos fled their homes as one of the strongest typhoons landed in the Philippines – with over 200,000 families left helpless. The Philippine Red Cross took charge of organizing relief goods to be sent to the affected communities. Red Cross Project coordinator of the Quezon City chapter, Ms. Jhenilyn Panganiban says “Red Cross is very thankful as Sales Rain Inc. donates 100,000 Php, which would be a big help to attend medical, food, shelter and other emergency requirements suffered by Typhoon Yolanda Victims.”
According to Sales Rain chairman, Mr. Parvez Khan “We are deeply saddened by the event. Our prayers and well wishes go out to all the families that were affected by this calamity. I would like to thank the Sales Rain staff for contributing one third of the amount from their sales commissions and leading the way. Despite the fact they need this money themselves to take care of their own needs. Our employees once again proved that Filipinos have a big heart when it comes to helping others. I would like to thank our customers as well for giving us business and means to do our small bit in rebuilding the lives of affected people. Prayers are more powerful than anything else, and we hope that our fellow citizens can resume their normal lives very soon.
